*A few thing of note:

  • Security cameras, with audio, and placed in the front and the back of the cabin and my parents can hear and see everything recorded on those cameras so be aware when coming in and out. (In the least creepy way possible)

  • There is a slight chance of wild life! This sounds silly but literally posting to be better safe than sorry:

    • What to do if you encounter a black bear
      • Do not run: Back away slowly while facing the bear. Running can incite them to chase you as prey.
      • Make yourself look big: Raise your arms, wave them, or move to higher ground if you can.
      • Make noise: Talk in a calm, assertive voice or shout. Do not scream, as high-pitched sounds might trigger a predatory response.

  • There are two guest bedrooms, it can be decided on Friday who wants to sleep where.

    • Your options are: guest bedroom - queen bed, very comfy couch downstairs, fairly comfy couch in the living room, or in the bunk room (two twins beds and two full bed options)

  • I want to make my parents a little video of everyone thanking them for allowing them to stay at the cabin. I may even buy a cute 'guest' notebook for them to keep there and have everyone write something very short about your stay. Just a heads up!
